🩸 BloodPulse — Emergency blood donation map, realtime, anonymous

I just finished building a small feature that could have a big impact, and I want to share it with the Unikorn community.

Problem

Every year, Vietnam lacks hundreds of thousands of blood units. In emergency situations — accidents, sudden surgeries — hospitals need blood immediately, but there is no quick way to call for donors in the nearby area. Currently, most blood donation apps require account registration, filling out forms, waiting for approval... which is too slow for urgent situations.

What is BloodPulse?

BloodPulse is a realtime feature that I integrated into toolhubio.com consisting of 2 parts:

🗺️ Anonymous blood donation map

• Users can mark themselves as ready to donate blood on the map — completely anonymously, no account creation required

• Realtime display of blood donation points near your area

🚨 Emergency SOS system

• Hospitals / management board send an SOS signal with blood type information, location, notification radius

• The system automatically sends push notifications to all users who have enabled notifications within that radius — even if they close the browser tab

• Donors receive notifications immediately, tap to view the map and contact
