SlideGlint is a desktop application designed to optimize the process of creating slideshow content. Instead of using complex drag-and-drop actions, users can focus entirely on the content through the simple and effective Markdown markup language.

SlideGlint addresses the issues of speed and convenience in preparing presentations:

• Real-time preview: The two-pane layout allows you to monitor changes to the slides as you edit.

• Local file management: Direct interaction with the computer's file system, fully supporting operations to open, save, and save as through the operating system's native file picker.

• Focused experience: Removes distracting elements, allowing users to maintain a seamless working state.

Technical Details

The project is developed with strict standards for performance and code structure:

Development Platform

• Main Framework: Electron with TypeScript programming language, ensuring rigor and maintainability.

• User Interface: React combined with Vite, providing extremely fast UI responsiveness and optimized packaging processes.

• Content Processing: Utilizes the react-markdown library to convert text data into a visually intuitive display interface.

Operating Mechanism

• IPC (Inter-Process Communication) System: Establishes a bridge between the main process and the rendering process to perform system operations safely.

• Performance Optimization: Applies a Debounce technique (100ms) when rendering the preview, reducing CPU load and creating a smooth typing experience.

• Automated Release: Integrates GitHub Actions to automate the build and packaging process for Windows (.exe) installers whenever there are changes in the source code.
